As you may be aware, people have been having trouble accepting opportunities on the new site. Some of this was bug related which our amazing Dev Team has already corrected and some of it has to do with our continuing efforts to provide meaningful disclosure across all of the IZEA properties.

Toward this end, we have added a new required field at inPostLinks for your blog’s disclosure URL which must be verified for each blog before you are able to accept opportunities.

To enter this information to your account, choose the ‘my blogs’ link from the ‘my account’ dropdown at the top right of your dashboard.

Then click on the title of your blog.

Or, if your blog has not yet been approved, you can click the ‘register and claim your blog link.

And finally enter the URL of your sitewide disclosure policy page and update.

I would like to read an example of a disclosure. I am not real sure what I am supposed to tell these people. Can I read one?

Also, do we include a disclosure with our blog or separately say as a Word document? Do we send it to the people we are blogging for? How does it work?

should we have disclosure policy in a separate page or is it enough to have it in my blog home page?

@vijayasankkar Either is fine, as long as you're disclosing. You can also check here for more information on disclosure.

@Miriam Vidas The disclosure lives on your site, in a specific location. This might in the blog post, or a separate page on your blog, letting your readers know you might at some point have sponsored conversation on your site.

    Make sense?
